Lafreniere tallied an assist and took one shot on goal in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Penguins.
Lafreniere scored a goal, blocked two shots and provided three hits in Sunday's 4-2 win against Vegas.
Was the Canadian Hockey League's Rookie of the Year as a 16-year-old and the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft two years later, so he is used to being in the spotlight and handling the pressure that goes along with it.
